Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord Himself, is my strength and my defense; He has become my salvation. Isaiah 12:2
Today you are invited to consider what hope these words give you in the light of the international events that have occurred in the past weeks. Where are you despairing? Where are you afraid? Listen to God speak these words to you. What difference do they make? How can you pray them when you hear of another attack or when something happens to people you know and love that is unpleasant and unexpected? What can you do to make them part of your life? Write the words out on a card or put them on your phone and read them throughout the day. Pass them on to others. Share them wherever you can. Then praise God for His strength and the shelter He offers to you.
May God bless you with an assurance of His victory today.
