You are Invited

Hallelujah!  For our Lord God Almighty reigns.  Revelation 19:6

Today you are invited to consider whether you believe this.  What assurance do these words give you for the future of the world?  How do they affect your view of what is happening around us today?  Do you see evidence of the truth of these words?  Or do you despair as one tragic event unfolds after another?  Put these words on your phone.  Write them in your diary.  Make a note of them and put them on your fridge or in your electronic calendar so that you see them time and again throughout this day.  Read them quietly, whisper them to yourself.  Say them aloud.  Shout them to the heavens!  Repeat them until you can say them with a singing heart full of praise for the Lord God Almighty – who is still in control no matter what the news tells us and people may say.  Our Lord God Almighty reigns – hallelujah!
