Up to now, for the last seven months I have shared some of my musings, devotional and otherwise, with you twice a week.  Some of these I wrote years ago.  Others were written at the time of posting.  But now I have used my stock and have done what I intended and shared them with the world.  So now, the writing will need to be done on a day to day basis, just as my You are Invited posts are done.   The You are Invited posts will continue five days a week as they have for the last two years (I used to send them by email every weekday, but I love posting them on my blog – especially when I hear from people around the world as to how God is using them to touch lives.)

As I am busy writing a novel, compiling some material for small group study and running workshops on various subjects, it may be that I am not able to write the two ‘Christian Poetry’ posts a week.  Sometimes I write three or four in a session; other times I go for a few weeks without writing.  So now this is my challenge – to continue to write one a week at least for all of you who do me the honour of following my blog.

If you have any suggestions about subjects, please let me have them.  I don’t guarantee that I will be inspired to write about everything, but sometimes just a word or sentence can provide the inspiration I need.

As I sit in my study and hear the bush shrike calling in the bushes outside my window, watch the pattern of shadows shifting and changing as the breeze moves the leaves, and enjoy this small haven that God has given me in which I write, I know that He will be faithful and I will be able to continue writing, delighting in creation and in life itself.

So who knows what next week will bring?  It is exciting to think that God knows and I will continue to write for Him as I have done for many years.

God bless you – and thank you for following my blog.  I love receiving our comments.  Please keep them coming.
