You are Invited

When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God for the good land He has given you.  Deuteronomy 8:10

Today you are invited to consider your gratitude to God for the good land He has given you.  How often do you notice the good things that happen in your homeland?  How often do you grumble about the way things are going?  What about all the things you possess, all the things that happen in your personal life?  When do you thank God for them?  Do you notice the good things more readily than the bad?  What is your outlook on life – do you seek the blessings or are you overcome by the challenges?  Take a moment to look at your life and your homeland today.  Do you believe your prayers about both will make a difference?  Speak to God today about your feelings, your gratitude and your concerns. Then wait to hear His reply – and watch for His response as you pray for your country and for yourself.

May God bless you with an awareness of answered prayers for your homeland and yourself today.

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I do live in the city but make the most of the green spaces that surround me.
