You are Invited

Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.  Psalm 119:105

Today you are invited to consider how often you read your Bible. What do the Scriptures mean to you?  How does God use them to speak to you?  What do you do when you hear His voice through the written words?  What do you do when you cannot hear Him, no matter how much you read?  How much respect do you have for the Bible?  How many do you have in your home?  How many versions do you read?  How do you feel about giving some to those who do not have their own copy – a prisoner, someone who cannot afford to buy one, or one who is a stranger to Christ?  How often do you pray for those who are not permitted to read the Word of God because of where they live?  How can you use your Bible today?

May God bless you as you hold His Word in your hands today as you pray for those for whom such an act is dangerous.

About Mandy Hackland

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I do live in the city but make the most of the green spaces that surround me.
