You are Invited

But now (God) has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation … Colossians 1:22

Today you are invited to consider what these words mean to you.  How does it make you feel to know that, through Christ’s death on the cross, you are holy in God’s sight, without blemish and free from accusation?  Can you accept this about yourself or do you struggle with the concept?  What do you want to say to God about this?  Be honest with Him.  Share any struggles you may have in believing this for yourself.  Tell Him what makes it hard for you to accept this.  Spend time in His presence today.  Listen for what He replies to you.  If you are able to accept this about yourself because of your relationship with Christ (or when you can if it has been a struggle) praise God for Christ’s sacrifice for you – for you – and for the love that God has shown you by giving His Son to die for you that you may be saved from sin (John 3:16-17).

May God bless you with His assurance of salvation for you today.
