You are Invited

“Aeneas,” Peter said to him, “Jesus Christ heals you.  Get up and roll up your mat.”  Immediately Aeneas got up. Acts 9:34

Today you are invited to consider how willing you are to step out on a limb for God and reach out to other people tapping into the power of Jesus Christ.  What do you do when you meet people who are sick?  How do you respond to them?  How often do you pray for them, anoint them, declare the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them?  How does the idea of doing such things make you feel?  Maybe you have a healing ministry and do these things often, or perhaps you have done them from time to time and God has responded and healed the one for whom you prayed.  Praise God today for the miracles He has worked through you.  But perhaps the very thought of risking disappointment, or doubting that God will use you prevents you from taking action.  Speak to God today about these things.  Ask Him to grow your trust in Him.  Remember Peter’s words to Aeneas: “Jesus Christ heals you.”  It was not Peter who healed but Jesus.  What difference does that make in the way you will respond to sick people in future?

May God bless you as you go out on a limb of faith for Him and reach out to those whom you meet today who are not well, expecting miracles to happen.
