You are Invited

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

Today you are invited to consider the quality of your sleep.  Does your head hit the pillow and your eyes close and you sink into peaceful sleep; or do you lie awake, tossing and turning, unable to still your mind? What struggles do you have that keep you awake at night? What techniques have you learned to help you to sleep? Read this verse again. What is God saying to you today through these words? How can you put this verse into practice tonight as you switch off your light? What do you want to say to Him?

May God bless you with a deep, peaceful sleep tonight.

Sleep, God’s gift, safety, Trust, relax, refuge, God’s peace.
