You are Invited

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for You alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

Today you are invited to consider how this verse compares to the quality of sleep you experience. What keeps you awake at night? How do you overcome this, so you can go to sleep? How often do you spend time in prayer during the dark, quiet hours of the early morning? Where is God in your restlessness as you lie awake, thinking? Speak to God today about these things. What does He say to you in reply? Tomorrow morning make a note of how you slept as a result of this conversation. What will you say to God now?

May God bless you with peaceful sleep tonight.
