You are Invited

Because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute Him. John 5:16

Today you are invited to consider how you are persecuted for your faith. Who do you know who mocks you for going to church or reading your Bible? How do your work colleagues react when you speak about Jesus – or are you silent in the workplace about Him? What about your family? Or your friends? How does the fear of persecution – in whatever form it takes – prevent you from stepping out in faith in some situations? Speak to Jesus about these things. Continue to pray for the persecuted church today for there are many who worship Jesus and who risk their lives by doing so. What is Jesus saying to you today about these things?

May God bless you as you pray for the persecuted church, and may He bless those who follow Him in spite of persecution.
