“But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom our hopes are set. If you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?” John 5:45-47
Today you are invited to consider what the Old Testament means to you? How often do you read it? What parts do you enjoy and what parts do you avoid? How is the Old Testament relevant to you? In the next few days, read some of the story of Moses in the book of Exodus.* And read a Psalm or two as a prayer.** Take your time, Take note of the language, the sentiment, the doubt and the failures. Notice the joy and the trust in God. How do these passages speak to you today? What will you read next? Ask God for guidance for the Old Testament is His Word to you.
