You are Invited

So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten. John 6:13

Twelve baskets! Today you are invited to consider how these left-overs could be used. How would you use them? How do you use them? How would it help you if you made soup for your family or for others who are struggling? Where can you find a church or a feeding scheme that may be able to use your still-edible ‘scraps’? What do you consider rubbish and what could be used still? How would you feel if you tried to reduce the amount of food you throw away by half this week? How would your family feel? What could you do to make left-overs tasty? What is God saying to you? How would it help your budget? How would it help others?

May God bless you as you live frugally with as little waste as possible in the coming days.
