You are Invited

Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared … John 8:10-11

Today you are invited to consider these words as you listen to Jesus saying them to you. “… Neither do I condemn you …” What do they mean to you? What guilt are you carrying for things you have done or said? Listen to Jesus’ words. Are you able to accept them as He says them to you? What may be preventing you from accepting His forgiveness – and from you forgiving yourself? Speak to God about these things – and listen for His response. Do whatever He asks of you – apologise, confess, repent – and then rejoice in the freedom only He can give.

May God bless you with forgiveness today – both His and yours – and may you know the freedom only He can give.
