But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected, “Why wasn’t this perfume sold and the money given to the poor? It is worth a year’s wages.” John 12:4-5
Today you are invited to consider who, in your life, would object if you released a beloved person or possession into Jesus’ care. How would you respond to their objection? Would it be enough to stop you or would you continue to give to Jesus those people or things you hold dear? Where would you need Jesus’ help in such a situation? Speak to Him about it. Ask you to help you love the objector anyway. Make a note of His reply in your journal.
May God bless you with His love for those who stand against you.
