As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Jesus told him, “What you are about to do, do quickly” But no one understood why Jesus said this to him. John 13:27-28

In hindsight we know what was about to happen and the role Judas was about to play in Jesus’ arrest, trial and crucifixion. Today you are invited to consider what happens when you are tempted to do something you know you should not do – and go ahead and do it anyway. How do you feel before, during and after such occasions? Who do you go to for help – if anyone? How does such an event affect your relationship with Jesus? You know the things that tempt you – speak to Jesus about them today. What does He say to you in reply?

May God strengthen you and help you to obey and follow Him in the face of temptation.
