Simon Peter asked, “Lord, where are You going?” Jesus replied, “Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later.” Peter asked, “Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.” John 13:36-37

Why? Today you are invited to consider how often you ask God ‘why?’ Peter was dismayed at what Jesus was telling them. When do you feel dismayed at what is going on in your life? What do you say to God at such times? What questions do you ask Him? Talk to Him today about any struggles you may be facing. He may not answer your question ‘why’ but He will listen and respond to you.
