You are Invited

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:13

Today you are invited to consider these words of Jesus. What do they mean to you? What act of love or kindness can you do today for a friend that will take you out of your comfort zone? Such a sacrifice may help them to recognize both your love and God’s love for them. Who do you know of who has literally laid down their life for a friend? Thank God for them, and pray for their families and for those whose lives were saved because of the sacrifice that was made on their behalf.

May God bless you as you sacrifice your comfort for a friend in His name today.
