… Are you asking one another what I meant when I said In a little while you will see Me no more, and the after a little while you will see me’? … Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. John 16:19, 22

Today you are invited to consider how you feel when you say goodbye to someone you love who is dying. What hope do you have that you will see them again? Jesus reassures His disciples that they will see Him again. Do you believe your loved ones will be there to greet you when you reach heaven’s gates? How does that help you to deal with grief? Speak to Jesus about any concern’s you may have and tell Him about your sadness. Allow Him the time and the space to comfort you today.
