... Very truly I tell you, My Father will give you whatever you ask in My Name. Until now you have not asked for anything in My Name. Ask and you will receive and your joy will be complete. John 16:23-24

Today you are invited to consider what you are asking God for that He has not yet supplied. How sure are you that this is in line with His will and His plans for you? Will it benefit you alone or will it grow His Kingdom? Ask Him why there is a delay? Listen for His reply. Perhaps He is saying ‘not yet’, or ‘not in that way but this way’, or maybe He is saying ‘no’. Maybe His ‘yes’ will come later today or tomorrow or sometime in the future. How can you rephrase your request so you involve His will in what you ask for? How open are you to receiving what you have requested in a different way to the one you imagine or hope for? Spend time with God today and listen to what He is saying to you.

May God bless you with wisdom that you may ask in His Name for things that align with His will for you – and may you recognise His answers when they come.
