(Jesus said) “My prayer is not that You take them out of the world but that You protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world any more than I am of the world.” John 17:15-16

Today you are invited to consider where you need protection from evil. Where are you tempted? Where are you threatened? What makes you scared? Jesus prays for you. What difference does that make to how you are feeling? Speak to Him about your fears and concerns, your temptations and failures. Ask for His help. Watch for His help to come – strength, courage, perseverance. Whatever form that may take – then praise Him for His presence in your life.
