Now Judas, who betrayed Him, knew the place because Jesus had often met there with His disciples. So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons. John 18:2-3
Today you are invited to listen. Can you hear the tramp of feet, the clink of armour? It has been quiet in the garden, under the stars. But now there are soldiers and noise, the light of torches, the smell of fear. What do you want to do? Will you stay and watch, run and hide, or fight? What does Jesus want you to do? Speak to Him about that moment in the garden. What does He say to you?
May God bless you as you follow Jesus today.
