You are Invited

Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.) John 18:10

Is this you? Are you the hasty one? Or do you look on in horror as you see events unfolding in the garden on that night? What is your response to Peter’s action? Are you glad someone is doing something to protect Jesus? Does it make you more afraid? Are you horrified? Why do you respond this way? When have you tried to rush ahead of God, as Peter did at this moment, and things have not gone well for you? What is Jesus saying to you through this verse today?

May God bless you as you wait for His lead today.
