Jesus commanded Peter “Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given Me?” John 18:11

Today you are invited to consider how you would feel if you were Peter. He was trying to help, yet Jesus soundly reprimanded him. Are you aware when God says ‘No – stop’ to you? What does that feel like? How do you respond? How do you feel afterwards when you ignore – or obey? Can you empathise with Peter or do you condemn him? What would you have done? Speak to Jesus about your feelings and listen to His reply.
