Once more Pilate came out and said to the Jews gathered there, “Look, I am bring Him out to you to let you know that I find no basis for a charge against Him” When Jesus came out wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe, Pilate said to them, “Here is the man.” As soon as the chief priests and their officials saw Him, they shouted, “Crucify! Crucify!”John 19:4-6

Today you are invited to consider your place in the crowd. How do you feel as Pilate brings Jesus out to you and you see Him, bloody and beaten? Do you join the mob, afraid of the consequences of being different? Do you shout out your objections? Or do you remain silent? What does this scene say about you today, when you see things that are wrong? How do you react to them? Speak to Jesus about your reaction – in the crowd and in your current circumstances. Where do you need courage to stand up for the Truth?
