Today you are invited to consider Pilate’s actions. He was afraid of the consequences if he stood up against the crowd, even though the law about which they spoke was a Jewish law, not a Roman one. Where do you see such things happening in your world today? Perhaps it is happening to you personally. Pray that those affected by the bullying of the mob or individuals in power may be made ineffectual as people stand up for what is right and true.
