You are Invited

Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jewish leaders. … He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. John 19:38, 39

Today you are invited to consider what sort of disciple you are. Do you keep your faith hidden or are you able to talk about it freely with people? Who would you prefer not to know about your relationship with Jesus? Why do you feel this way? If you are reluctant and live in a society where following Christ is accepted, ask Jesus for the courage to speak out for Him. If you live in a place where you are not free to worship Christ, ask Him for wisdom when to speak and when to stay silent. In both instances, follow Jesus’ lead. Spend some time praying for those who are not free to share their faith.

May God bless you as you share Him with others according to His leading today.
