Finally, the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.) John 20:8-9

Today you are invited to consider what your reaction would have been. The other disciple had to see and only then did he believe. What did he believe? Would you have believed – and if so what would you have believed? Looking back it is hard for us to understand the disciples’ dilemma. But there are others we have. What is your dilemma of faith? Who do you know who does not, cannot, will not believe because they cannot see? Speak to Jesus about these things and pray for those you know for whom seeing is essential to believe in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
