(Jesus) said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some (fish).” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish. John 21:6

Today you are invited to consider how you follow Jesus’ instructions. He gave the disciples precise instructions – ‘throw your net on the right side’ – and when they followed His command there was success. How meticulous are you in listening to Jesus’ instructions? Do you do things exactly as He say or do you add your own ideas? What results do you have? Are they good enough? Or do they exceed your expectations so you too are ‘unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish’? How would your work, your hobby, your sport, your family life, change if you followed Jesus’ instructions exactly? Speak to Him about the areas of struggle in your life and ask Him for precise guidance. Then follow His instructions.
