Jesus said, “Feed My sheep. Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.” Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. John 21:18-19

Jesus said this to Peter to foretell the kind of death he would experience. But today you are invited to consider Jesus words, ‘… when you are old …’ What does old age mean to you? Who do you know who is experiencing old age? How are you able to help your loved ones who are old? How do you feel about growing old yourself? Speak to Jesus about your thoughts and feelings, your hopes and fears. Listen. What does He say to you in reply?
