Because of this, the rumour spread among the believers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; He only said, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?” John 21:23

Today you are invited to pray – for those who teach the Gospel that it may be according to the message Jesus brought, and not any distorted interpretation of their own; for those who hear the message that they may hear the truth and not twist it to suit themselves; for those who live the message that they may live according to the teachings of Christ and not be tempted or led astray by people who have their own agenda; and for yourself, that you may truly follow Christ every day.
