“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for Me One who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.” Micah 5:2
Today you are invited to consider this prophecy. From something so small came One so great. How do you feel about small things that seem to be unimportant – places, people, things? Do you treat them with disdain or do you strive to see the worth in them? Do you yearn for fame, for wealth or for big city lights, or do you appreciate the simple life in country towns, with unassuming people? How do you see yourself in relation to others’ perceived status? Read the verse again. How could it alter your perception of what is grand and what is not? Speak to Jesus about any struggles you may have in this regard.
May God bless you with insight to see the value in the people, places and things that are part of your life.
