You are Invited

Let the light of Your face shine on us (Lord). Fill my heart with joy when their grain and new wine abound. Psalm 4:6-7

Today you are invited to consider what these words mean to you. The Psalmist is not asking for blessings for himself but for others. What grace bestowed on others will fill your heart with joy? What will it mean to you to see the light of the Lord’s face shine upon you and those around you. What will it take for that to happen – at home, in your wider family, at work, socially? Pray these words over your family, friends and colleagues in the coming week and watch for the Lord’s grace to touch them. Then celebrate with them at His goodness.

May God bless you with the gift of His light and joy today and in the days ahead.
