But God will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish. Psalm 9:18

Today you are invited to consider the needy who surround you. Who would you say is needy? How do you classify needy? Do they need material things? Or is their need more emotional, spiritual, intellectual? How about the single person in your street? Do they need a companion? Or the child at the bus stop? Does she need new shoes? Or the old lady you see in the supermarket often, putting things back on the shelf? Does she need Jesus? We are surrounded by people in need. How can God use you to show someone who is needy that God has not forgotten them? Ask Him what He wants you to do.
