My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Why are You so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish? Psalm 22:1

Today you are invited to consider these words. Jesus called them out on the cross? How do they describe how you are feeling now that the world is locked down? Where is God in your current situation? How is He showing you His love at this time? Read the verse again, as if you are crying out to God. Now read them once more as if Jesus was saying the words on the cross. How does the awareness that He suffered so much for each one of us – for you – help you to put your own difficult circumstances into perspective? What is God saying to you at this time? How will you respond?
