You are Invited

I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart has turned to wax; it has melted within me. My mouth is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death. Psalm 22:14-15

A fever, a dry mouth, fear. Today you are invited to consider how you are feeling. Are you well? Are you afraid? Are you locked down or are you a front liner? How is the world situation affecting you? Where are you finding things to lift your spirits? Read these words again in the light of Jesus’ physical experience on the cross. Now read them once more in the light of your own current experience. What do you want to say to God today? How does He reply?

May God bless you with courage and peace today. And if you are a front liner – we thank you and pray for you, that God may protect you from all harm.

About Mandy Hackland

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
