Today you are invited to consider, whatever your circumstances, whether busy or bored, what you are focusing on. Where is God in your life at the moment? Are you focusing on Him or are you becoming self-centred in lockdown? Or perhaps you are so busy you have not time or energy to do anything other than the work He has called you to do. Turn to Him. Whether you are busy or not, at the beginning of each day, give the day to Him. He understands your situation. He hurts for the world; He spent 40 days in the desert in isolation; He went to the cross – for you. For you. Give Him each day first thing in the morning and know He walks with you through the dark.

May God bless you with His light and His comfort today as He releases you from the snare of boredom, and gives you purpose; or the snare of exhaustion and gives you rest; or grief and gives you comfort. Whatever your need God is here because He lives.
