You are Invited

Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish. Psalm 25:16

Today you are invited to pray these words for yourself and for others. Pray for the frontliners.  Pray for those who work behind the scenes without whom our lives would be even more changed – the farmers, the drivers, the shopkeepers. Pray for those shut up in tin shacks where isolation is impossible; for those in flats with children; for those in flats alone. Pray for those who live in abusive situations from which there is no escape. Pray for the abusers. Pray for those who are addicted. Pray for those who are mentally challenged; the vulnerable; the hungry. Pray for yourself. Let God lead you in how to pray.

Abba, I pray today for your peace, comfort and hope for every person whatever they need today – for you love them all whether they know you or not. Lord, I pray … I pray …

God bless you.

About Mandy Hackland

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
