Do you wonder, in these times of the pandemic, where your life is going? What questions are you asking yourself?
How will I feed my family?
Will I still have a job when this ends?
Will I or my family members survive?
How will life change?
How much longer can I go on living like this?
These and other questions roll around in our minds in an endless chain. They distract us, ruin our concentration, make us react to minor irritations in out of proportion ways.
Following Jesus makes a difference. Now maybe you already do follow Him, yet you still have these questions. Jesus did not promise us a life free of trouble. But He did promise to be with us. And He did tell us that He is already the conqueror of all life’s problems.
When you trust Jesus, He will be your guide. He will show you the way. There is no need to worry where your life will be next week. You do not need to know that yet. But following Jesus will mean you will take a step in the right direction for you to reach the place He wants to take you to.
When you give your life to Him He will protect you and guide you. He will prevent you from taking wrong steps if you will only listen to His guidance.
If you are not sure how to do that ask Him to show you. Listen to your conscience. Is this the right step for you or does it make you uncomfortable? Ask Him to show you how to feed your family, to give you the strength and encouragement to carry on at this time, to give you His peace in regard to your health and the health of those you love.
Jesus is here for you. He will guide you.
If you let Him.
Hand over the reins of your life to Jesus and know His peace and His love, His blessing and His presence whatever your circumstances today.
For this I now. Jesus loves you.
