You are Invited

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for You, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? Psalm 42:1-2

Today you are invited to consider how thirsty you are for God and when you can go and meet with Him. How much do you desire more of Him in your life? What time can you set aside to spend longer with Him in solitude and silence? How does such a thought make you feel? What will setting aside one hour to spend with God mean to you? What will you have to give up? What difference will it make? How will it bless you? How will it bless God? How will it bless others? Set aside a longer period of time than you usually spend with God and enter that time prepared to be blessed in His presence.

May God bless you more than you even hoped as you spend time with Him in the next few days.

About Mandy Hackland

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
