Answer me, Lord, out of the goodness of Your love; in Your great mercy turn to me. Do not hide Your face from Your servant; answer me quickly, for I am in trouble. Psalm 69:16

Today you are invited to consider what answer you are waiting for from God. How long have you been making this request? What progress towards an answer have you seen? How do you feel about the situation at the moment? Speak to God today. Repeat your request again. Then stop and listen. Listen. Seek to hear His reply to you. Give Him time to answer in the stillness of your heart rather than the busy-ness of your day or the churning of your mind. Be still and hear the voice of God as He replies. What does He say to you today? Record His response to you in your journal that you may look back and say ‘This was the day that things began to change because I heard the Lord.’
