He chose David His servant and took him from the sheep pens; from tending the sheep He brought him to be the shepherd of His people Jacob, of Israel His inheritance. And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them. Psalm 78:70-72

Today your are invited to consider how your own background influences who you are. How has it helped you to grow? How has it held you back? How have you allowed God to use the parts of your background to form you into the person you are today? How has He set aside the parts of your background that are not helpful and helped you to overcome them? What help do you need today to overcome the parts of your background that are limiting you and your belief that God can use ‘even you’?

May God bless you with a vision of who you can become and grow your self-confidence as He helps you to fulfill the dreams He has given you.
