If my people would only listen to me, if Israel would only follow my ways, how quickly I would subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes! … You would be fed with the finest of wheat; with honey from the rock I would satisfy you. Psalm 81 13-14, 16

Today you are invited to read this verse in two ways. Firstly in the light of Israel and then to pray for the Holy Land which God loves so much. Secondly, to replace the word Israel with your own name. How does that make you feel? What enemies do you have in your life? Maybe there is an addiction, a health problem, relational struggles. How would your life change if this enemy was subdued by God? Imagine being fed as God describes, and being blessed by Him in this and many other ways. How would your life change then? Listen, God says, listen to Me. Spend some time today just listening. What blessings do you discover that God has for you when you follow His ways?

May God bless you with listening ears and heart so you may follow only His ways today and in the days to come.
