You are Invited

Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. Psalm 84:10

Today you are invited to consider whether you can say this with the Psalmist. Think about it. What would it mean to you to be a doorkeeper (which is a lowly position) in the house of God rather than anywhere else? Why do you answer in this way? What does being in God’s presence mean to you? What do you want to say to God today in the light of this verse? How does He reply to you? Spend some time, quietly in God’s presence today. Soak in His presence – even if He seems to be far away. Trust Him for He is near as He has promised.

May God bless you with a real and tangible sense of His presence with you today.
