You are Invited

Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord who minister by night in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord. Psalm 134:1-2

Today you are invited to consider how not being able to worship with others in the sanctuary during this pandemic has affected you as a person, your faith, and your relationship with God. Where do you worship God now? How do you worship Him? What has changed about His involvement in your life since the first lockdown? Perhaps He is even more involved; perhaps He feels absent. Spend time talking to Him today. Tell Him about your struggles and what you miss. Ask Him to help you find a way to connect with others with whom you can worship Him. But whether there is a way or there seems to be no way remember this. God is here. God hears you. God loves you … always.

May God bless you as you worship Him alone or with others at this time.

About Mandy Hackland

My love in life is to encourage others to deepen their relationship with God. I write devotional material, stories and small group studies with that in mind. I live in South Africa and also love spending time in the bush, bird watching and walking. I have moved to the coast and am enjoying the green spaces and beautiful vistas that surround me, reminding me of God's grace every day.
