I know that the Lord secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy. Psalm 140:12

Today you are invited to consider this verse. Would you agree with the Psalmist? Why/why not? Where do you see justice and the ’cause of the needy’ being upheld? Where do you see it being ignored or brushed aside? How do you feel when you think of these things – about the poor, the needy – about God? Pray about the injustices you see in your world and the needs that surround you. Listen for God’s response. How can you help to rectify the situation as the world ignores God and goes its own way of injustice as it turns its back on those in need?
