You are Invited

Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips. Psalm 141:3

Today you are invited to consider the words you use. Do you speak loving words or are you critical or demanding? How do others respond to your words? What tone of voice do you use? How loudly do you speak? How often do you regret what you have said in any given situation? How often do you offer an apology? Be honest with yourself and with God. Tell Him about any difficulties you may have when you speak to certain people. Pray the words of the Psalmist in this verse. What does God reply to you? Follow His lead and look for changes in your relationships with others as a result.

May God bless you with loving words, a gentle tone and a new approach to others wherever there is a need in your life for such things to happen.
