You are Invited

For Your name’s sake, Lord, preserve my life; in Your righteousness, bring me out of trouble. Psalm 143:11

Today you are invited to consider the words ‘preserve my life’. What do they mean to you when you pray them to God? Are you speaking of your life here on earth – or are you talking about your eternal life? Or maybe both? What is life? What does your life mean to you? What does Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross resulting in eternal life spent in His presence mean to you? Do you know Jesus as your Saviour? Whether you do or not, He died for you and waits with arms flung wide in love and welcome for you to turn to Him today.* Speak to Him and tell Him what He means to you as you spend time with Him.

May God bless you as you spend time in His presence today.

  • If you have never given your life to Jesus, pray this simple prayer and then go to a church or someone you know follows Him and tell them what you have done, that they may help you in learning more about Jesus. Here is the prayer.
  • Lord, Jesus, I have heard how much You love me. But I know that I have done a lot of things in my life that makes me think I am not worthy to be loved by You. Please, forgive me. Take away the burden of my sins for I am sorry that I have hurt You when You have done so much for me as You gave Your life for me. I now give my life to You. May I follow You from this moment on. Please help me for this is all new for me. Show me what to do and who to speak to. And may You be with me every day of my life as I walk in Your footsteps. Jesus, help me to love You more and more each day. Thank you, Jesus. Amen
  • And my prayer for you is that you will know your Saviour and walk in His light for the rest of your days. God bless you.
