You are Invited

Jesus has read a passage from the book of Isaiah (Luke 4:18-19) in the synagogue in Nazareth. Now He says to the people:

‘Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.’ Luke 4:21

Today you are invited to consider where you see Scripture being fulfilled – in your own life, in your nation, in your world. Consider the news. What is happening in the world that could be related to Scripture? How does it make you feel to see or read about this happening? What does Jesus say to you in this regard? Listen. How do you respond? How does it how you feel about what is happening? What will you do with this information?

May God bless you as He opens your eyes to the world around you and helps you to see Him in action.
