Jesus had had a busy day and went away to a quiet place. But the people followed Him begging Him to say with them. But He said to them:

‘I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.’ Luke 4:43

Today you are invited to consider what God is saying through these words. Do you find yourself stuck in one place because of the demands people are putting on you? How do you feel about having a wider ministry? What does God say? Is He urging your forward or telling you to continue what you are doing where you are doing it. How are you responding? If He is urging you to move into wider fields of ministry, how will you do this? How do these questions make you feel? Spend time with God today and ask Him whether you should stay or move forward? Listen for His response. Follow His lead.
