Jesus continues His sermon:

Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. Luke 6:22

Today you are invited to consider these words. What has happened in your life when you have been rejected or ridiculed or excluded because of your faith? Have you ever felt hated because you follow Jesus? If so how did that make you feel? Have you ever scorned someone because of the way they believe – either before or after you became a Christ-follower yourself? How do you feel about that now? What is Jesus saying specifically to you today through these words. Listen. And then tell Him how you are feeling.

May God bless you with a strong assurance of His love for you today, whatever circumstances you find yourself in.
